With all that low-end torque, almost every single guy I see try to run one will not do so hot. It's funny, because for the longest time the guys at the local street races SWORE my friend's stock Z28 was heavily modded because it spanked all the other ones and SS's...the thing was, he knew how to drive it quite well... Funny thing about the street drags...most EVERYONE spins their tires and runs like crap. Of course, that's to be expected with high HP cars and a bad road...but people NEVER adjust. They'll just keep burning through first gear...whether it's a Honda or a Z28. The few that adjust, let off a bit and let it hookup, always win :) After 5+ years of seeing it, I guess some feel that at least they "sounded" fast if they lose hehe.
